by admin477351

Italy will begin a humanitarian mission to airdrop essential aid into Gaza starting August 9, according to Defence Minister Guido Crosetto. The initiative, aimed at supporting civilians affected by the ongoing conflict, will involve both the Army and the Air Force.

An advance team has already been deployed to coordinate logistics and liaise with local authorities to ensure smooth execution. The airdrops will deliver food and critical supplies, with procurement and staging operations being finalized in Jordan.

This mission underscores Italy’s commitment to providing urgent humanitarian assistance in regions facing severe crises.
