Nuclear Deterrent Makes Russian Defeat Impossible, Moscow’s Envoy Declares

by admin477351

Russia’s strategic nuclear arsenal ensures the nation cannot be militarily defeated in its ongoing conflict with Ukraine, according to the country’s diplomatic representative in India. Denis Alipov, serving as Russia’s Ambassador to India, made these assertive statements during a public appearance at a media forum in Gurugram earlier this week.

The ambassador emphasized that Russia’s nuclear doctrine explicitly permits the deployment of atomic weapons when the nation confronts threats to its fundamental existence. This policy framework, he argued, fundamentally alters the calculus of any military confrontation and places definitive limits on what adversaries can achieve through conventional warfare.

Alipov characterized European nations’ expectations of a Ukrainian military victory as immature and disconnected from strategic realities. He drew a sharp contrast between what he described as European “unprofessionalism” and the American administration’s more pragmatic assessment of the conflict’s trajectory under President Donald Trump.

According to the Russian diplomat, Trump possesses a realistic understanding that the conflict has already been lost by Ukraine and its Western supporters. Meanwhile, European allies continue what Alipov termed “belligerence” and maintain unfounded optimism about reversing the military situation through continued support to Kyiv.

The conflict, now approaching its fourth anniversary, has witnessed unprecedented Western military and economic assistance flowing to Ukraine. The United States and European partners, including Britain, have provided Kyiv with sophisticated weapons platforms and billions in financial support, maintaining their commitment despite Russia’s warnings about the consequences of such intervention.
