SuperPlus 98 Petrol Prices to Drop, LPG and Propane Costs to Rise

by admin477351

Fuel prices in Europe are set for a shift as high-octane 98 petrol prices will decrease, while liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and propane prices are expected to rise. Starting Saturday, October 31, the cost of SuperPlus 98 petrol (E5) will drop by 3.7 cents to €1.899 per litre. Conversely, LPG prices will see an increase of 2.9 cents, reaching €0.972 per litre, and residential propane will rise to €0.953 per litre.

The upcoming changes suggest a slight relief for motorists using high-octane petrol, translating into reduced fuel expenses at the pump. However, households and other consumers depending on LPG and propane will face higher costs for these energy sources over the weekend.

Current fuel prices as of October 31 are as follows: EuroSuper 95 (E10) is priced at €1.759 per litre, Diesel (B7) at €2.11 per litre, and heating fuel at €1.601 per litre. Additionally, bottled propane and butane are available at €2.459 per kilogram and €2.262 per kilogram, respectively.

The expected price adjustments highlight an ongoing trend affecting different fuel types, impacting both individual consumers and households differently based on their energy needs. As these changes take effect, consumers will need to adjust their budgets accordingly, particularly those heavily reliant on LPG and propane for heating and other uses.
