Fuel prices in Luxembourg are set to decrease starting from midnight on Wednesday, November 4, providing financial relief to motorists and households. The reduction will affect petrol, diesel, and heating fuel prices, which are all set to become more affordable.
EuroSuper 95 petrol will see a price drop of 8.1 cents, bringing the cost to €1.678 per litre. SuperPlus 98 petrol will become 6.4 cents cheaper, with a new price of €1.835 per litre. Diesel will also experience a reduction, decreasing by approximately 7.1 cents to €2.039 per litre. Additionally, the price of heating fuel will fall by 7.2 cents, resulting in a cost of €1.529 per litre.
The updated prices for other fuel types are as follows: LPG will be priced at €0.972 per litre, residential propane at €0.953 per litre, bottled propane at €2.459 per kg, and bottled butane at €2.262 per kg. These reductions are expected to ease the financial burden for drivers and consumers who rely on fuel for transportation and household heating.
The cuts in fuel prices come as a welcome change, offering some economic reprieve amidst varying costs in energy and living expenses. The adjustments reflect a broader effort to support households and reduce expenses associated with daily commuting and heating needs.
